WORLD YOUTH SKILLS DAY

For the 3rd consecutive year, we are taking advantage of World Youth Skills Day to introduce you to one of our employees.
This time it was Mathis, 20, working in the Quality, Health, Safety, Environment department (QHSSE department), who took part in the interview. Following a STI2D baccalaureate, Mathis entered a DUT in Industrial Logistics and Organization Quality, then continued his studies with a Professional License in Quality, Hygiene, Health, Safety and Environment at the IUT de Roanne in September 2019.
Going from theory to practice is what he expected from the work-study program. We have prepared a rich and varied program for him:
- Writing of machine safety instruction sheets
- Creation and implementation of the protocol in case of fire
- Update of the evacuation plan
- Monitoring and calibration of measuring devices
- VSM (Value Stream Mapping) of processes
The pursuit of continuous improvement is for him a real lever for maintaining his competitive position, offering a product that meets customer expectations and thus satisfying all the stakeholders in a project. He finds his motivation in the daily challenges of making changes and moving the organization forward.
The primary qualities of a quality expert according to him? Rigor, organization and availability!
